The first thing that one notices about the Cerato is that it sits aggressively on the road. Compared to the Spectra, the new car is actually 30mm shorter, but has a wheelbase that is 50mm longer. With reduced overhangs and taller overall height, the Cerato has a sporty, wheel-at-each end stance. Kia Cerato on the road
On the inside, the Cerato looks handsome and well-equipped. The dashboard sports a classy two-tone tan-and-beige colour scheme, and the carbon-fibre accents lend a high-tech feel.
Other nice details include air vents that are designed to rotate shut and the 12-volt power outlet on the centre console.
It offers a central armrest for both front and rear passengers, and even a pair of drink holders for the rear passengers. With a longer wheelbase than the Spectra, the amount of legroom in the Cerato has improved, and headroom is also particularly generous. |
